Transient Mode is for those folks who don't want WhoPaste living on the menubar full-time.
In 'Transient' mode WhoPaste appears when you request it and then automatically quits when you 'Save' (or 'Cancel').
The downside is that WhoPaste has to run through the launch code every time.
Depending on a number of factors this might take a second or two.
Here's how to setup WhoPaste to run in Transient Mode
1) Remove the WhoPaste login item.
When WhoPaste is installed it normally creates a login item so that is starts up when you begin using your computer.
You can use System Preferences/Accounts/[your username here]/LoginItems to do this
OR
You can use WhoPaste Preferences/Components/Login Item.
2) Configure the Snow Leopard Service for WhoPaste
This is a two-step process
a) install the service - use WhoPaste Preferences/Components/Service
b) use System Preferences/Keyboard/Keyboard Shortcuts/
enable the Services/Text/WhoPaste item (check the checkbox)
3) Turn on Auto-Quit
Use WhoPaste Preferences/Components/Transient
